Advanced Dry Eye Treatment

Intense Pulsed Light, or IPL, is a quick, non-invasive treatment that targets one of the root causes of dry eye –  blocked or inflamed oil glands in the eyelids. By using gentle pulses of light, IPL reduces inflammation and helps restore healthy oil flow, which stabilizes the tear film and prevents tears from evaporating too quickly. Most patients notice less irritation, redness, and dryness after just a few sessions, with results that continue to improve over time. It’s a safe, in-office procedure that not only treats symptoms but actually improves long-term eye comfort and function.

Low-Level Light Therapy, or LLLT, is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate and restore the function of the eyelid’s oil glands – one of the key drivers of dry eye. By improving cellular activity and reducing inflammation, LLLT helps the glands produce healthier oils, which stabilizes the tear film and keeps the eyes naturally lubricated. The treatment is comfortable, hands-free, and typically takes just minutes, with many patients noticing gradual, lasting relief from dryness, irritation, and fatigue. It’s a safe, in-office solution that supports the eye’s natural healing process rather than just masking symptoms.

Punctal plugs are a simple, in-office solution for dry eye that work by conserving your natural tears instead of adding more drops. These tiny, biocompatible inserts are placed in the tear drainage ducts to slow tear outflow, keeping the eyes better hydrated throughout the day. The procedure is quick, comfortable, and reversible, with many patients experiencing immediate relief from dryness, irritation, and burning. It’s a low-risk option that can significantly improve eye comfort – especially for people whose tears drain too quickly.
