Just got out of my appointment today and it was a phenomenal experience by every measure. Patient care, examination, professional services, and customer service were all exceptional.Dr. Paul Harris professionally answered every of my questions (among a great many) including information related to my personal interest in Lasik. The examination was the most thorough and complete eye care experience that I have ever had. All state of the art equipment with Dr. Harris explaining the vision and Healthcare value for each of them.I actually became a new customer because of one great experience that I had from an appointment with Dr. Alisha Harris. She was substituting for another location and the quality of her examination provided, her thorough explainations, and her overall professionalism won me over. Dr. Alisha Harris is amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable during my experience. Admittedly, it had been quite a few years since I was in the market for new glasses, and I knew my prescription was no longer working for me. Instead of making me feel guilty for waiting so long to go to the optometrist, Dr. Harris was compassionate, empathetic and answered all of my questions without shame. I met both Dr. Paul Harris and Dr. Danny Sanchez as well and they are just as amazing as Dr. Alisha. After my appointment, the Optician walked me through a huge selection of glasses and really took their time helping me find the perfect glasses for my face. I walked out with fun, funky glasses for the first time in my life - and I've never gotten so many compliments! What a gem of a provider Eye Doctors of Louisville is! I scheduled a last minute appointment as a new patient for my daughter. From the start, their staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful, providing me with an exam and lens quote. When we arrived, we were met with the same genuine warmth. They have cutting edge technology that made my 8 year-olds exam easy and extremely thorough. Dr. Harris was amazing with her exam, review, and recommendations. She put my daughter at ease while providing detailed reviews of her exams and potential next steps. Dave in the optic shop was upset helpful in guiding us in selecting potential frames and made helpful recommendations considering my daughter’s age, typical wear, etc. Overall, I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience going to Eye Doctors of Louisville. The whole office embodies the best attributes of a family-run business: everyone that I interacted with was professional, incredibly welcoming, and took the time to get to know me on a personal level. My appointment was with Dr. Alisha, and she not only gave high-quality and personable care but also took the time to educate me of the "why's" of everything that was going on during the exam. I learned a lot about best-practices in taking care of my eyes, especially in light of being a contact-wearer. The practice uses state-of-the-art technology (hello, no more pupil dilation!), and they also have a wide range of personality-filled glasses to choose from. I’ve had such an amazing experience with the Eye Doctors of Louisville! Dr. Alisha was incredibly kind and helpful and for the first time in years, I have contacts that don’t irritate my eyes to the point where I can’t wear them. They also are amazing at taking care of glasses needs and I have gotten two excellent pairs of glasses from them directly. They respond very quickly to questions and inquiries as well as are incredibly helpful when getting scheduled for appointments. I have recommended Eye Doctors of Louisville to my local family and friends and plan on getting all my vision needs cared for by them. I've been to a few different eye doctors over the course of my life-- I to this day have never had something as in depth or as patient as this experience. Dr. Sanchez and Dr Alisha Harris both took their time to be sure to explain my retinal images and Dr Sanchez made sure to correct my prescription carefully. Nothing felt like a rush and felt much more friendly than any other doctor I've had. Even the process of choosing my eye glasses with Johnathan was honest and a perfect method of helping someone with extreme indecision actually find something they could enjoy. Dr Harris and his entire staff, yes Dave that includes you are courteous, professional and knowledgeable! It started as soon as I made my first call to EDL the warm greeting and the way they asked question about ordinary stuff indicated early on I would be well taken care of! I most certainly was, my scrip was updated and all the choices for my lenses were a life game changer! I was unaware of tiny choices and coating that I feel really worked well. The office staff is friendly and welcoming. Got me right in on time. Dr Harris was super! The exam was the most thorough and informative I’ve EVER had. Dr Harris explained everything that he was doing and what the test was diagnosing. After the exam their staff was very helpful picking out a pair of glasses. They had a huge inventory of very stylish glasses. The best part was that the fees were very reasonable and certainly less than what I’ve been spending. The entire experience was super. Had an amazing eye exam at Eye Doctors of Louisville. Dr. Harris is extremely thorough, intelligent and has great assessment skills. The selection of frames for both glasses and sunglasses was great, and the quality of my new glasses is better than I have gotten elsewhere. It had been a long time since my last eye exam. I met with Dr. Alisha Goshinska Harris. She ran me through several tests to assess the state of my eyes and was very thorough. The only fault with the whole process was that I didn't find out that they were not "in network" until getting into the office. The online sign up process listed my vision insurance provider on their website and collected my member ID and group ID, but I guess they don't use that for anything? Kinda weird. - 4/01/2022

I've been to a lot of eye doctors in my life, and this was one of the most charming experiences. The doctor, Alisha Harris, was very personable, caring, and informative. At the front, Adriana made sure I understood all my options, while keeping it light and friendly, and Johnathan showed me some beautiful frames, (it was hard to pick one.) His advice was spot on.
